Resume vs job description match

See how well your resume fits a specific job: a match score, the required skills you already show, what's missing or under-emphasized, and the job's key terms. Free, no sign-up, and nothing leaves your browser.

What you get

  • An overall match score, with skills weighted most
  • Required skills your resume shows, and those it doesn't
  • Nice-to-have skills listed separately, without lowering the score
  • The job's key terms: present, under-emphasized, or missing
  • Suggestions based only on what's already in your resume

Common questions

Is my resume or the job description sent anywhere?

No. Both are read and compared inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded, and no AI service sees them.

How is the match score calculated?

It weighs skills most (40%), then experience wording (25%), responsibilities (15%), seniority (10%), and domain (10%). Skills listed only as nice-to-have don't lower the score.

Should I add every missing keyword?

Only where it's true. Bring forward experience you already have, and use the job's wording when it accurately describes your work.
